What is pre-wiring? At the time that you are putting up the frame to your house or extension, cabling for your audio visual needs is installed throughout, just like your normal power & lighting cabling. Specific cables are required for your home theatre, hi fi systems, television, outdoor entertaining etc. What are the benefits of pre-wiring? Think about your home entertainment systems just like you would think about power points. If you had to install all your power points after your home was completed, it would be a lot more work and far more difficult than planning for their installation during the building process.
